Wind-chimes were hung in bamboo groves and fortunes were determined by the direction of the wind and the sound that the bells produced. Later, wind-chimes were hung in temples and shrines; their sound is believed to create a sanctuary from disasters and disease.

Now the gentle ringing of wind-chimes is a staple of Japanese summer. They can be heard everywhere — from shopping arcades to private homes. The sound of windchimes is said to break the heat and create a cool aura.

All wind-chimes ring beautifully, but Niigata is especially famous for its crystal fuurin. The sound of these wind-chimes is clearer and louder than those made of regular glass. Location Style
1.    Conveniently design your windchime in a traditional Japanese shrine near the Furumachi Area of Niigata City.
Spend less time on transportation and more time on entertainment!		 A.    Traditional Japanese Design: Try your hand at a traditional Japanese design. As with so many things in Japan, this design is beautiful in its simplicity and functionality.
2.    Enjoy a visit to a rural Niigata village, where you can not only feel Japanese history and culture, but also take a tour of the glass factory where your wind-chime was born.
Optional: Visit to a Japanese hot spring		 B.    Seasonal Design: Create a truly unique decoration for your home by exploring one of our seasonal designs. This option is customizable, allowing you to choose which style you will explore.

    We offer two payment options:
    1. Advance PayPay transfer (5% discount if the funds are transferred 12 hours before the tour time)
    2. Cash or PayPay at the meeting place.

    The tour will be held, regardless of the weather. In the unlikely event of a natural disaster or cancellation of the tour, you will be contacted by e-mail.
    Please notify us of your cancellation at least 12 hours before the tour start time.
