CAMPLIFIRE ISA 2025
Tour Introduction
Camp + Amplify + Fire = CAMPLIFIRE
CAMPLIFIRE is a summer camp that amplifies children’s potential and ignites their hearts.
In the United States, many children participate in summer camps during their summer vacation, where they experience various activities beyond what they can learn in school, growing into more resilient individuals.
CAMPLIFIRE is Japan’s first American-style English summer camp.
We believe that children, who will lead Japan’s future, should grow into independent and resilient individuals. Unfortunately, we feel that the current Japanese school education system makes it difficult for children to become independent and resilient.
What kind of environment fosters independence and resilience in children? The answer can be found in American summer camps. In the United States, many children spend their summers in the lifestyle of summer camps.
They spend a period away from their parents, experiencing a new environment they are not familiar with. This is not just about having fun; it is an opportunity for children to develop their abilities to make decisions, sense their surroundings, and take initiative.
Testimonials from Participants
The first “CAMPLIFIRE ISA” was held in August 2023 at Jusso Youth Village in Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Below are comments from participants and their parents:
【Participants】
- “I was anxious being away from my parents, but I made friends with people I didn’t know and was able to do a lot of things, which gave me great confidence.”
- “I struggled because I couldn’t speak English, so I want to study more.”
【Parents】
- “After coming home, my child cried before bed, saying, ‘I wanted to stay there forever.’ It seems to have been a memorable experience.”
- “My child said it was the most enjoyable camp they’ve ever participated in.”
- “My child had little experience with English, and I was worried, but they seemed to enjoy English conversation casually. It was a good opportunity for them to learn how to do things independently, like washing dishes.”
