Tour Overview:

The Sado Island Galaxy Art Festival is a contemporary art festival setagainst the rich natural landscape and cultural heritage of Sado Island, featuring artworks displayed across various locations on the island.

This special official tour offers a guided journey through selected contemporary art installations scattered throughout Sado Island. Along the way, participants will also visit sites connected to local folklore and legends, experience a Sado Noh workshop, and stop by a local sake brewery.

An official festival guide accompanies the tour, providing in-depth explanations of the artworks, the island’s history, and its cultural background. The tour also highlights Sado’s local cuisine, with recommended regional food and drinks introduced throughout the day by the guide, making this an experience that appeals to both art lovers and food enthusiasts.
